All the discussions went well, there was no exceptional/creative question. I was unable to identify a weak moment through the whole interview process, but abruptly after the design discussions I was told by HR that I was not a fit for the expectations of the job. When I insisted that this is not what I saw coming, and would need more details regarding this so that I can improve in future, she arranged a feedback session with the last interviewer who rejected my candidacy. The interviewer gave me the feedback "You move from A to D very quickly while still try to understand the B and C". I followed up with questions "Was the A to D movement wrong" or "Did you ask me to elaborate B and C"; both the questions were replied in negative. Then I went on to say "Are you saying that I am too intelligent for the organization?". On which the interviewer went to explain that it is the team. In 12 years of my career this is the worst interview feedback I have received. I am shocked !!! The only thing that comes to my might is the quote from Iron Man "An intelligence organization that fears intelligence". Or maybe Thoughworks is not as intelligent and organization as they claim
