Amazon Operation Manager interview questions

It was a one-way video interview. And afterwards I was told (after repeated email inquiries) that I was not moving on. I have no argument with that. But Amazon has a policy that once you interview with them for any position, you are not allowed to interview again--for any position--for a full year. This is asinine; I understand the need to cut down on excessive applications, but this goes too far in the other direction, and will discourage people from applying for any job that they are not 100% certain they will get.

After phone interview with recruiter told I would have an additional peer phone interview with another Senior Operations Manger. Week passed and I got email with date and time the next week. Date and time arrived and I never received a call. Have not heard from anyone since.
