I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Santa Barbara, CA) in Jan 2023
Interview
Long interviews, nice people. Overall was a positive experience. Pros: Learned a lot about amazon interviews People were very nice Cons: Had about 9 interviews, each 45 minutes to 1 hour
The process was very long and unnecessarily complicated. Many rounds of interviewing. You're prepped by a recruiter (who likely gets commission if you're hired) and given homework to prepare testimony for the LOOP process. Somewhat random employees are included in the panel, where they ask questions off a script and most are not able to answer any questions about the role. In fact, they don't even allow time for the interviewee to ask their own questions to see if they even want the role.
