I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX)
Interview
The team that interviewed me was very professional. They flew me out & I had a really good experience. The interview was tough but not overly & was on point for typical interview style for these kinds of positions. Unfortunately I didn't receive an offer.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2019
Interview
I didn't have the required skill-set for this job, but since I had a lot of other high-skill qualifications, they interviewed me anyway, and after confirming I lacked what was needed for this job, they found me the perfect job somewhere else in the company! That's efficient

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2019
Interview
Applied online , the recruiter set up a phone interview with the hiring manager.
The questions were simple but the they wanted in depth answers.
Couldn't answer with a lot of details, ( ex: as i didnt remember what encryption type ssh uses)
Also asked me IT questions.
In the end he started talking about principles of Amazon and mocking me saying "its not for everyone" did that twice, I thought it was very demeaning and i felt belittled. I get that its a big company but a respecting others goes a long way .
