The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon in May 2012
Interview
I was contacted by recruiter and phone screening interview for System Engineer at Amazon Web Services was scheduled. The interviewer was considerate. But he asks such stupid questions that I was taken aback. After several questions interviewer said that they want someone more experienced. Experienced in what? In answering dumb questions? I think it is incredibly ridiculous to ask these questions to someone with years of experience. I had a better opinion of Amazon before this interview.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Hyderabad) in Mar 2008
Interview
It was a campus interview so it was relatively easy compared to off campus interviews. This is what I have heard from a few of my friends who have interviewed with the company before. Met 1 person for the 1 round interview, basic technical questions, then 2 round was more fit with the company and team and last round with HR. was made an offer immediately after the round
