Was supposed to have a phone screening role with a recruiter from PH. One was scheduled 2 weeks ago but was cancelled on the day itself suddenly with no follow-up and I assumed that I was not selected. I did not follow up. However, the recruiter reached out again and asked for a screening, and when I asked about the ghosting, she mentioned that it was due to medical leave.
Thereafter a new phone screening interview was set up. However, I waited 20 minutes in the room and no one admitted me into the call. There was also no response from the recruiter. It was severely unprofessional and it wasted my valuable time, and I already closed an eye to the ghosting incident. I hope that Avanade can seriously rethink their candidate experience if they want to continuously attract talent.
