I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New Brunswick, NJ) in Oct 2016
Interview
The interview was awkward because it was essentially me just talking to my webcam and them throwing five questions at me, giving me 30 seconds to think of an answer, and then giving me a minute to respond to the questions. They send these interview requests in mass so they have a high filtration rate.

Question 1
When did you see an inefficient process and what did you do to make it better?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Apr 2016
Interview
A representative emailed me to set up a call time and called me from Japan. The interview was in Japanese and English. There were a few reception problems and the questions were somewhat difficult. The interviewer was hard to understand at times. There were little to no questions about finance or to test financial knowledge other than reading the Finance section of Yahoo News. Instead, questions were more focused on my individual course work and ability to express myself. Overall, the interview was about 30 minutes long. Afterwards, the interviewer told me they would be in touch within the week and emailed me 5 days later to tell me the results.

Interview
I went for an event hosted by one of the support community that Bloomberg offer to their employees and talk to a few people and gave them my resume. The next day I got an email saying they would like to interview me over the phone. They called 30 minutes earlier than the appointment but I was ready. Asked questions based off my answers. Second interview was in person with 3 different interviewers.
