2. HR/Recruiter Screening (Phone or Video Call)
A short (15–30 minute) conversation to:
Verify your background.
Understand your interest in the role.
Discuss salary expectations, notice period, and other logistical details.
3. Technical/Skill Assessment
Depending on the role, you might receive:
Coding test (for developer roles).
Case study (for analysts or consultants).
Aptitude test or logical reasoning (for freshers or entry-level roles).
Assignment or portfolio review (for creative/design roles).
4. Technical/Panel Interview(s)
One or more rounds where you are interviewed by engineers, team leads, or domain experts.
You may be asked to:
Solve problems live (whiteboard or online).
Explain your previous projects or experience.
Answer scenario-based or domain-specific questions.
5. Managerial/Behavioral Interview
Usually with the hiring manager or team leader.
Focuses on:
Your work style, communication, and team collaboration.
How you handle challenges and conflicts.
Cultural fit and long-term goals.
6. Final HR Round / Salary Discussion
Discussion of compensation, benefits, work policies, and joining date.
Any final questions from both sides.
7. Offer Letter
If selected, you'll receive a formal offer.
Some companies may also conduct background verification at this stage.
