There will be a power day with two rounds of technical interview, case interview and Behavioral interview. After all these interviews then interviewerers will meet for consensus and take the decission
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Write a java program to remove the duplicates from the sorted list
I am putting my pathetic experience with their initial "code signal" general coding assessment and their recruiters who didn't care about issues in their third party assessment tool when I reported.
It had major issues like IDE hung up and system errors while running code. This confused me and ate up lot my time.
Tasks #3&4 were like mini games. I guess any avg coder can only attempt or finish first two tasks at most if all works fine on their code signal platform. It seems impossible to complete all 4 tasks in 70 min of time.

Question 1
Tasks were more of a medium to hard leetcode type of questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Jul 2024
Interview
Interviewed a couple of weeks back after doing the OA. Like others said you just needed to submit the first two questions to pass the OA. I also did part of the 4th. The actual interview was scheduled 2 weeks later, broken down into 4 parts system design, coding interview, case study, behavioral.
1) System design - Was my first time doing system desgin and was very unprepared. Could barely answer the questions. Chances were basically over after this point. The question was to design a banking app that could handle transactions etc. I recommend to know the HLD and then pick a specific technology and explain why you picked it, dont just guess. Go on leetcode discussion section and look up credit card to get started
2) Coding Interview - I was prepared for leetcode style interview, but instead it was a OOP oriented question that was split into 3 parts with each part building upon each other. The question was to design something (implementation to you) that could create user accounts and, store all their transaction, and do transfers between accounts, and return a sum of all transactions the certain accounts did. (these requirements were split into multiple parts). Tip: Makse sure you store all transactions. Was able to answer 2/3, ran out of time on the last one, but not too hard. go to exponent and look up "create-a-banking-system"
3) Case study - didnt really study much. Just some analysis of data and code like others said. Wasnt too bad, just think critically
4) Behavioral - standard questions
Time you disagreed with coworker or manager, time priorites shifted, time you had to learn something new for a task
good luck
