I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (San Antonio, TX) in May 2015
Interview
I completed the application and skills test online. Then I received a call within 2 days and did a phone interview. I scheduled an interview the next day and did a background check through an email link. I felt good about the Job application process until the in person interview. Things didn't go well. The manager who interviewed me was unprofessional and rude. I traveled almost an hour to get to the interview and it would have been courteous if he had put his phone away in the beginning. Also, he was very snappy. Usually in interviews, managers are supposed to be professional and polite. I wonder if it would have been different if someone else had interviewed me. I haven't had such a bad experience in a while. To me that interview spoke volumes. It basically said that working for Citi would be an unpleasant experience. Edit: I got offered a job after 2 weeks, but ended up declining since I was hired somewhere else.

Interview
You will have a phone interview only, no face to face interview. It consists of the standard set of questions that most corporate opening use. They do not tell you that they are using the STAR method, but this is what they are looking for. The questions include
-Tell me about a time when you had to work with an irate customer.
-Tell me about a time when you had to work with a customer who had unrealistic expectations.
Be very positive and upbeat during the interview. It was a pleasant experience; the interviewer was quick but effective, very friendly and sincere. I was told at the end of the phone interview that I would receive an offer and I did within a few days.
