      Application

I interviewed at Citi (Dublin, Dublin)

      Interview

I applied for a position and received an email from the recruiter asking for additional details, which I promptly provided. After that, there was complete silence for weeks. I followed up, only to eventually receive a generic rejection email saying I was not shortlisted. It’s frustrating to be contacted by the company, asked to invest time and effort, and then be left in the dark with no updates or explanation. What’s the point of reaching out if there’s no real process or communication afterward? A brief call or at least a proper follow-up would have shown basic professionalism and respect. I expected better from a company with such a strong reputation. Unfortunately, the candidate experience did not reflect that.
