Initial phone interview was to establish working knowledge in the industry for this position. Without working knowledge it would be easy to determine that the person was embelishing their resume/past work. The panel was interesting, there 4 people they all asked questions regarding my experience but also participated in what I would call a group meeting. Probably to determine if I could fit into their culture without ruffling feathers of others. The other folks within the group where strong personalities, there was one person virtually attending the interview. Heavy on skill/knowledge recongnition.
