I applied online. I interviewed at Epic in Feb 2021
Interview
The phone interview was great; I learned a lot about the position. The skills assessment was stressful and for some reason, the proctor was me to angle camera down more, so I took the exam with my camera pointed straight at my chest, which was a bit awkward for me, but I still tried to do my best. The skills assessment was not what I expected question-wise, which added to the stress and confusion. They got back to me within a week with a rejection email, which hurt, but at least they don't leave applicants hanging like other companies do. I would go through the interview process again because Epic sounds like a great company with amazing benefits, but it is definitely a hard process that took up over 3 hours of my time.
Explained the ccompany and job description as well as the role. continued on to ask about my schooling and experience and what i was looking for in a career. This was only the phone interview there are still two steps to go for.

Interview
Phone interview followed by assessments. Phone interview was super chill and the guy on the phone was super nice. Did not get to the onsite interview part. I believe it was due to the skills assessment. I miss a 7/20 questions in the first timed section.
Seems like they filter out a bunch of people by the assessments. I have a 3.9 GPA in Biology, undergrad.
