I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Oct 2019
Interview
30 minute phone interview- introducing yourself to the recruiter, they tell you about epic/the role, they tell you about Madison, ask if you are willing to relocate, ask what your 3-5 year goals are
Online assessments- nothing to really study for, just basic critical thinking questions, coding questions-this was the first time I ever saw code and I still got a final interview
On site: dinner with an employee, day of tours/interviews: you learn about the company, about the role, take a tour, get lunch, do an HR interview, a case question, and then a coding assessment (just to get a baseline of what they need to teach you)
Very pleasant experience and great company!
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Sep 2019
Interview
Reached out to by a recruiter. After initial resume review, I was sent a collection of personality and technical aptitude tests and scheduled a time to talk to someone working in the role I applied for. The call had more of conversational feel than an interview feel. I was invited to Epic's location near Madison for the final interview, which is scheduled for an entire day.

Interview
I just got a phone interview today (on time). The overall process was smooth, the person I told to was kind and willing to answer my questions. There weren't any harsh question. I did the skill assessment before the phone interview. The skill assessment was a little bit hard and tricky (I have taken Java class and currently learning python, although they don't expect us to know any specific programming language). I am curious about how I did on the assessment test and asked him if epic will reveal my score to me, and he said they won't, but if they contact me for following process that indicates I did fine. Wait to hear from them for the next two weeks.
