I applied online. I interviewed at Google in Dec 2021
Interview
Video call interview - standard programming question. Needed to write a unit test and proved my solution worked. (had to write a topological sort for the test) I did it in time.
I never got a callback after that. I thought i nailed it. The HR (recruiting for Taiwan) didn't even reply to my email. This is the second time a google HR (the other was a US recruiter) just flaked on me.
I think i'm done with this company forever.

Question 1
Typical algorithm question on CS - you need to know graphs for this.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
Skipped phone interview to on-site, 3 rounds of coding, 1 design and 1 behavior. Google engineers are super easy to talk to making the interviews very good experience. Surprisingly all the answers for my coding are the same, not sure if they are looking for more advance algo answers. But I did still pass the interviews.
I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2022
Interview
They reached out to me and they said that due to my experience they will forego the initial phone interview. They gave me so much grace because I had to reschedule my interview many times because I was also in the process of finishing up my thesis. All the employees were helpful, but you have to get the hang of saying your thoughts out loud. That way they can make sure your thoughts are in the right direction. I lacked programming practice so I felt like I got through the questions 60-75% . I feel like a few more months of programming practice will help catch me up.
