I was honest; in my last job, the activity level was so strained that I had no time to be particularly creative. I was in a reactive mode for 10 hours a day, which left nothing afterward to think outside the box and be creative. If I did think of something creative, I didn't have time during the day to implement, since the reactive mode would begin as soon as I walked in.
