I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at L'Oréal (Prag) in Jan 2013
Interview
For the interview I would suggest getting well acquitted with the products in a given marketing division for which you are interviewing.
Be ready o provide ideas for products that are missing on the market and to distinguish between different products (I was given 5 different Elvive shampoo and told to rank them according to market share).
Basically they really want to know if you know about their portfolio and if you have ideas.
Lastly, they will give you an excel test.
This can be nerve wrecking experience, but don't panic. Nobody ever gets it completely right. I was given some data and told to organize it in a graph with 4 axis....and then interpret my results orally.
Good luck!
