I interviewed with the recruiter first who was not prepared at all. I had to email her to remind her of our call. She was pretty condescending at first and later noticed I had the credentials to do the job. She said she will pass my resume to hiring manager. I received a call from HM for an interview and at the same time received an email a few days later from recruiter for “feedback” which meant she was going to let me know the were not moving forward. The manager proceeded to with the interview where she was sure to mentioned “they are very diverse an intentional about diversity”. Later I had to follow up with the recruiter after 10 days for her to say the same thing let’s schedule a feedback call and reject me when I know I’m 100% qualified for the job. That leaves me with a sense of 1. A very disorganized recruiting process and 2. An outwardly “diverse” but pretty biased process for selecting candidates.
Really smooth, personable, and professional experience throughout. The recruiter clearly communicated expectations regarding the role, company culture, responsibilities, and growth opportunities, making the entire process transparent, engaging, and easy to understand from start to finish.
