I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lam Research (Fremont, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
First there was a HR interview, followed by a manager interview via phone about 2 days later. A couple of days after that they flew me out for onsite interview. First portion was a 30 minute presentation followed by lab tour and then 2 separate interviews with managers. They were all very curious about what sort of research I had experience with.
I had a positive interview experience with a clear and organized process. The interviewers were respectful, engaging, and genuinely interested in my experience. I especially appreciated the focus on real-world problem solving and collaboration. Overall, it gave me a good impression of the team and company culture.
