I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (Edinburgh, Schottland) in Mar 2023
Interview
3 Stages: Online assessments, online interview, in person assessment centre. Online assessments were very generic, eg situational questions etc, whereas interview and assessment centre were very much closer to the actuarial role. Assessment centre consisted of a small group task which extended into a larger group task (~half of the applicants), strengths based interview, individual problem to solve, presentation and a motivational based interview. All interviews were conducted by 2/3 interviewers

Question 1
Questions were fair. They very much preferred those who had a desire to learn and would thrive after learning rather than those who put down others for incorrect answers in the group task (for example). they stressed that they didn’t expect us to know actuarial questions inside out at this stage (obviously still needed to know about it to an extent) which suited me as a physics student
