I applied online. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (Leeds, England) in Sep 2025
Interview
My overall interview experience was very positive. The panel of three interviewers had a friendly and welcoming demeanour, which helped put me at ease. Each person asked thoughtful questions relevant to their area of expertise. The interview began with technical questions, as the role is technical, and then moved on to discussions about the company culture and the values at LBG. It was a single-round interview, and I received an offer about a week later.

One of the questions they asked was for me to describe a typical data pipeline I’ve worked on. During the culture and values section, they also asked me to share an example of something I had challenged because I believed it wasn’t right, and to explain the outcome of raising that challenge.
