Phone Screen. Non-existent communication after. When I inquired about the status of my candidacy, I was given a very generic reply. I then asked for constructive detailed feedback. The recruiter declined stating that it was "against company policy" to let a candidate know why they were not selected. Very non-constructive interview process.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Medtronic (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2011
Interview
4 interviews spaced weeks between each other. 3 months to get on board. Expected higher offer but benefits were good bonus to accept. Managers were all kind and company has great mission value.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Medtronic (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
The interview process was okay. They no longer do a test. It is now only 2 interviews. The interview that I took was good and made me think. I liked the interview due to the interviewers telling me their stories of how they see Medtronic and telling me the career advances that are available and they set real expectations. Nothing that is out of your reach.
