Brief phone interview with recruiter followed by a completely bizarre day of group interview followed by a panel interview with execs. It was an entire day where the morning session was held at a hotel (weird) and you had to sit through a presentation where you're told all about how great the position is and the company is, but that you're against all the other candidates in the room for the job. Lots of group presentation/problem solving style activities, many of the candidates were fresh MBA grads with not much in terms of social skills. After this morning session, you have to go home and wait around for a few hours to see if they'll call to invite you back for an individual interview the same day. I was invited back for an afternoon interview at the Meltwater offices where I sat across the table from 4-5 execs, one on video chat, and barraged with questions that ranged from standard interview fare to really bizarre and inappropriate. I felt like I was being interviewed for the CIA or something. This was seriously the strangest and most unpleasant professional interview experience I have EVER had.
