I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
First round is just a call with the recruiter. Second round is an app critique and a presentation of your work. The final round is a presentation of your work, a 1:1, a whiteboard challenge and another app critique.
Overall, I really enjoyed the process. The recruiters really care about you and your success throughout the process.
They want to help you and all the interviewers were really nice and respectful. One of the best interview experiences I have ever had!

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Nov 2020
Interview
Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn, set up a call. Then had a call with her and it went perfectly well. Set up first round that included two 45 minute interviews: portfolio review and app critique.
2 days later got an email saying I was going through to final round. Asked for feedback in case I had something to improve, recruiter said it all went perfectly well, interviewers wey very impressed.
I was assigned a new recruiter for the final round, and had a phone conversation with her. Then, we had a video session to prep for my final round, and she said everything looked amazing, no negative feedback.
Set the date for the final round which consisted of 4 interviews: portfolio presentation, app critique (both same as first round), behavioral interview and whiteboard design challenge.
After my 4 interviews I felt everything went amazingly and perfectly well, so I was expecting a positive outcome.
2 days later I got a call from the recruiter saying they did not want to move forward with an offer, and that she was "also shocked" when she heard.
It has been hard for me to process and understand what went wrong, as I cannot think of anything. I honestly thought it was a mistake and that they somehow got my profile mixed up with another candidate. So strange. She asked me to try again in a year.
