I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Meta (London, England) in Sep 2020
Interview
Overall it was enjoyable and challenging. Interview stages was done remotely using Bluejeans video conferencing. Offer made but I rejected it as I had other opportunities.
1st round (30 minutes):
Talk with the recruiter to understand your goals, aspirations and skills. Will be asked why you want to interview at Facebook and what your strength and weaknesses are.
2nd round (45 minute presentation & 45 minute app critique):
Presentation to include at least two case studies to talk through. It is all about process and design. Time goes very quickly here.
App critique skills test. Was asked to choose an app to critique, I did Uber. Again, have a process to talk through it.
3rd interview (5 hours):
30 minute case study presentation with a group of designers and managers. No interruption, so it is you talking through it non-stop.
45 minute white board test. I was asked to design something that someone could up skill.
30 minute 1to1 with a designer. Quite casual at this stage.
45 minute app critique. Was asked to do You tube.
45 minute skills review with a design manager.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Meta (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2020
Interview
Traditional tech interview process - phone screen interview, hiring manager interview, portfolio review, onsite interview with a panel of interviewers. Recruiter kept me very informed throughout the process of the interview and gave me documents to prepare.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (New York, NY) in Aug 2020
Interview
Originally was rejected from the screening for a few teams, but received a follow up from one of the teams that originally rejected me. I assume something went wrong with processing my resume. Once I started chatting with the recruiter & team the proccess straight forward, fast & to the point. The format was just as others outlined here but different questions and challenge questions.
