Two rounds of face to face detailed interview for the role of Docker Architect.
I was interviewed on various DevOps tools and was asked to write code using shell and Python.
I was asked question based on DB also and wrote few store procedures also
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Bristol, England)
Interview
Essentially a carbon copy of the Amazon interview as OCI started by ex AWS staff. with 5 interviews - 2 coding interviews, 1 system design interview, 2 behavioural interviews (with the first interview being with the "bartender" who is someone outside the team). The coding questions were standard Leetcode easy questions and the system design questions was also pretty simple. But as with Amazon interviews the marking tends to be weighted to the behavoural questions to make sure you align with the 9 OCI "values". So I think the best way to prepare is to concentrate on memorising the 9 values, identify which of the values that the question is related to then just try to repeat the values in your answer.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (New York, NY) in Sep 2021

It was for OCI. Had 8 interviews in total:
Initial interviews:
- Recruiter
- Tech screen (Technical questions/concepts)
Whole day:
- 3 Developers (coding + behavioral)
- Engineering Mgr
- Engineering Director
Follow-up:
- Engineering Mgr
Result: Ghosted me. No even a rejection letter even after a follow up. Feedback would have been appreciated. Seems standard with these folks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic LC style. Easy/Medium and wanted to know your thought process and they emphasize on behavioral questions. Did ok and had positive vibes from interviewers.
Round with Eng Directory design questions was kinda tough. Design a CDN service. Didnt do well as I know little about CDN. Didnt provide any details how it should work.
Follow-up interview:
More behavioral. Asked about Java trivia question which I wasn't able to answer satisfactorily. Question around "static" on classes, functions etc .
