PPD interviews FAQs
Here are the most commonly searched roles for interview reports -
Four interviews In total. Each lasted about an hour long. First with HR, then with a director, and lastly two line managers. For me, the first 3 interviews were on phone, though, the typical format is two phone interviews and two face to face. Each interviewer was warm and pleasant. It was a fast-paced and intense process (mostly due to my dedication to preparation), but everyone was just great.

Question 1
All STAR based questions. Be prepared to provide examples of past situations, how you handled them, and what were the outcomes. Think about issues you have encountered with projects, employees, supervisors, and "customers"
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at PPD in Jan 2016
Interview
I was sent a screening email from recruiter, then a phone call was scheduled with same person. After approval from hiring manager, there are two skype interviews, then a F2F.
In my phone screening questionnaire, I was asked when is a good time to be contacted and I said anytime after 4pm. She scheduled a call with me on Monday at 11PM. I thought that was a strange time, but she confirmed. She calls me at 11AM (of course) when I am at work and very frazzled. I was not organized and did not feel comfortable answering questions.
I was told it would be STAR format, but they were basically just involved with the patients and PI, with neither of whom I have contact.
In my current position, many of the questions did not apply, but she kept asking them. Very frustrating.
I was also told I would hear back in 24-48 hours, whether they wanted to move forward or not. When I did not hear back, I guessed they were not moving forward. I got the rejection letter the day of.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you disagreed with a PI about reporting deviation, eligibility criteria, etc.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PPD (Austin, TX) in Jan 2016
Interview
The interview was with the pharmacy department director and the clinical pharmacist. The director was very thorough with the explanation of the position responsibilities, interactions with other departments, and explaining a typical day. He allowed me to ask questions throughout the interview process. He also gave a tour of the facility, department, and introduced me to the staff. He told me that they have a few more interviews to do but will reach a decision within a week time. When I contacted them in the following week, I was told that they made an offer to another candidate with more position specific experience. Overall, positive experience even though I didnot get an offer.
