I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at PTC (Pune) in Dec 2021
Interview
The interview happened over 3 days. A brief cultural fit round, followed by a technical round and a direct interview with the manager. In the cultural fit they ask you why you'd like to join them and ask you briefly about your education and past work.
In the technical round they'll ask you questions about the language you'll primarily be working in. In the intelligence round they'll give you coding assignments and ask intelligence questions

Interview
I applied for the Business System Analyst – Salesforce role at PTC on 21st August. I had my first interview on 1st September. After that, there was no clear communication. The role was even reposted on LinkedIn twice while I was still waiting for feedback.
I followed up with HR in the 2nd week after my interview and was told interviews were still ongoing. I followed up again in the 3rd week, and HR mentioned they would update me the following week, but I never heard back.
Overall, the interview process felt very unprofessional. Candidates deserve timely communication and closure instead of being left without updates. This kind of ghosting creates a poor experience and leaves a negative impression of the company’s hiring process.

Interview
Had a phone screening with the TA which was very positive. I was then scheduled for 3 back-to-back meetings in their office which I took time off work for (#1 with the hiring manager, #2 with two current BDR's, and #3 with the sales director). In the 1st meeting I was told that the director may or may not be able to make it and that they would reschedule.
I have the 1st and 2nd meetings, and then the hiring manager comes back to walk me out the door and tells me that they will reschedule the meeting, and asks me about my availability for when I can start. I don't hear anything for two days, I check Workday and it shows I've been rejected. I message the TA and another person on their team, and I receive "automatic" emails that they are out of the office. The email from the TA said they would be OOO until September 16, it was well past September 16. They couldn't even give me the courtesy of an automated rejection email.
