I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PwC
Interview
One HR screening with multiple interviews (Directors and Partners). All virtual.
Everything was going well. I got great feedback, and they were determining what team to place me on. Everyone said they looked forward to working with me (directors and one of multiple partners). In a moment of vulnerability, I outed myself as transgender to a partner. From there, the energy flipped, and I was rejected. I was told negative feedback came from this individual, who believed I was not qualified. Fascinating feedback when I passed an HR screening and was told my qualifications aligned with the role.
Queer people, please be aware not to out yourself if you want this job and are willing to hide your identity.
