Scopic Software interview questions

The interview started off strong. I felt confident and prepared as I answered the initial questions about my experience and skills. However, when the interviewer asked about a specific project I had worked on, I struggled to recall some of the details. I managed to recover and provide a relevant response, but I could tell that it wasn't my strongest moment. Overall, I believe the interview went well, but there were a few areas where I could have performed better.

I applied for a position through the company's portal and was contacted by HR a few days later. They were very accommodating, and we scheduled the interview at a convenient time. After a 45-minute screening, I was asked to complete an assessment, in which I scored 96%. The assessment took me about 11 hours to complete. Following that, I was invited to a technical interview with a software engineer at Scopic. The interviewer was very kind and made me feel at ease, but he asked some tricky questions that aren't typically needed in the real world. The problem-solving question involved Roman numerals, which I'm not very experienced with. Additionally, he set up some things in the same file where I had to write the code, which added to my confusion. Two days later, I received a message saying that Scopic had multiple candidates and that I wasn't selected. I wish I had received more detailed feedback on why I was rejected. Also, I believe it would have been much better to conduct the technical interview before the assessment, as that would have saved me a lot of time. I hope that I haven't been fully blacklisted based on this one interview, which didn't go as well as I hoped, and that I will be considered for future opportunities. Overall, they were very professional throughout the process.
