It sounds like a typical 'Wolf of Walstreet' question but it's serious...I focused on the needs of having a black pen - but no matter how needs-mindset I tried to be, the interviewer demonstrated a "creative way" of selling ME the pen. Aka - he wrote a statement down with the pen saying "I ____ will buy this black pen because ____ will give me 1 million dollars if I just buy the pen".....that's literally what he wanted by "creative." If you ask me, that is not creative, that is just reaching and not true sales. I could have said "If you buy this black pen your dreams will all come true!" it's the same concept...anyway, prepare to have something creative to respond.
