The interview process involved an online test (with standard coding questions) and then a behavioral portion (with standard "tell me about a time..." questions). There are other rounds after that, but I did not pass the behavioral part.
I applied online. I interviewed at Slack (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
I went through three rounds of interviews. The process was slow and opaque. The interviewers did not provide much clarity into the role. There was significant time in between interviews and the recruiter did not manage expectations on timeline or process movement. Felt unprofessional and very ad-hoc.

Question 1
What is an event that you have enjoyed attending and why?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Slack (London, England)
Interview
There were 4 stages:
Call with recruiter
Interview with hiring manager
Interview with hiring manager and one other to review CV in detail
Panel presentation to 4 stakeholders
They kept me in the loop and provided feedback after each stage but it was a very long process, taking 2-3 months. After this time it was then put on hold and they had a confusing explanation for this with poor and slow communication. I would not recommend or work for them based on how they treated me as a candidate who had put a huge amount of time and effort into the process.
