I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (New York, NY) in Apr 2018
Interview
1 interview - sales presentation with a group of recruiters and my future supervisor as well as a Q&A. Overall, the experience was not too bad. I interviewed with them on a Google Hangout call and they catered to my needs as I was not in the New York area at the time of my interview
Slow but doable and if you have patience it’s fine . Also the office is in a cool location and doing cool stuff . Would maybe work there during my life
Fun people to talk to. I had 3 interviews. My interviews were all behavioral, with overall easy questions, but sadly did not make it to the offer. I want to work there so bad!
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (London, England) in May 2023
Interview
Applied online for two similar roles. Got invited to an interview with HR and shared my preference for one of them due to having more suitable experience. I was told I’d be moving forward with an interview with the hiring manager. At midnight (!) on a Friday I got confirmation for an interview right after the weekend and found out that the hiring manager was instead the one for the other role. I had a nice chat with her explaining that I was open to both roles but was expecting to meet a different person, she said she’d follow up with the other hiring manager. Then 2 weeks radio silence until I got a rejection email for the role I was interested in saying it has been filled and zero feedback on why I never even was given a chance.
