I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Snap (London, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
2 phone screens followed by onsite.
Overall the interviewers are pretty supportive and test in depth knowledge of the subject.
The interviews involved whiteboard discussion, coding (compilation and testing) on laptop and lunch with the team.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Snap (Venice, CA) in Apr 2017
Interview
The recruiter was terrible and the interview was horrible. Very unprofessional, disrespectful attitude and both had no clue what they were talking about and they had no idea what to ask or how to behave.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (Toronto, ON) in May 2017
Interview
around a month ago someone from snap Inc. contacted me via linked in saying they have reviewed my resume and portfolio and they think I would be a good match for one of the positions available as a bitmoji illustrator, after a phone interview they asked me to do an illustration test. it took me almost 20 hours to complete the test based on the samples they provided. after 1 week a generic email came saying : although we saw some strength in your background , but we do not think you are the match for this position(it was a no reply) email. it seems that they didn't even bother to review the test. no feedback at all, they didnt even let me defend my work. i am pretty positive that I did a decent job. I can not accept it so easily as not being match to the position. I do need some explanations. a robot just sent me a generic email that they send everybody who applies online and does not get an interview. so why bother to interview me and kill 20 precious hours of my time? this is not fair. this is not fair at all. you can not do that and get away with it. you can not do this to artists. I played my role the best I could but you didnt. this is not fair! I am sorry for such a well known and big company
when you treat people like this, what should I expect from small companies?
you better review the way you treat artists
