Snap Software Engineer Internship interview questions

Had 2 technical interviews, both 1 hour long with an engineer through Google Hangouts and CodePair (Hackerrank). The interviewers first asked to describe yourself and your projects, and "why Snap?". Then proceeds with a coding question (~Leetcode medium) and after you finish, the interviewer will let you ask him/her questions about the company. My first interview was alright- my code was quite messy and there was a bug that I didn't end up fixing, but my interviewer said that my solution was good and would work. I honestly thought I failed it but I was able to move on. My second interview was much better. The problem was a little more algorithms heavy and the interviewer guided me more to achieve the best runtime. I was able to get the correct answer and later told him things I would do to improve memory usage further and he asked me about some data structures that I could use to implement it. He was really nice and told me that it was a good interview!

Applied online back in 2018. Had 2 online interviews on Hangouts and one assessment. First interview was fine. Second was not so good because I was sick. Even tho coding question was simple I did not perform well
