This is a big company and each section can have a different process.
In general the entire process is as follows:
- There is a preliminary screening to see that your CV is readable and contain relevant information.
- Initial call to hear your expectation and to see if they are in the same ball park.
- Technical / social meeting. Here you will meet with your expected manager and will be given example task. It is meant to check your match for the team and skills. Other team members can teach you later and this is meant to see if you are open to teaching.
- salary talk. This is a private talk with some higher management. If you reached this stage, you are most likely a good fit.
The entire process varies and can take anywhere from 1 week to 3 months. There is no dedicated stuff for this and usually or dedicated time. Stuff is handling this part without it being count as there work estimation, so this is usually a low priority.
