The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Jul 2011
Interview
Great initial meeting with the group director. I asked lots of questions, the manager was happy to provide answers. I would come prepared with good work to show, but also get a full understanding of what exactly you'd be doing on a day-to-day basis. It's important to know whether you'll enjoy doing the work day in and day out.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Kansas City, MO) in Feb 2009
Interview
Applied online. Received a call about 4 weeks later on a Tuesday morning asking if I would like to come in to the store for an interview. Did so later that morning and interviewed with a very knowledgeable lady from Human Resources. Was asked to come back that evening to interview with an Associate Manager of the store which I did. The following day I was called by the Store Manager to set up another interview with the Department Supervisor that evening. Having now been through three relatively comfortable interviews, I was called again by the Store Manager to set up a final interview. That took place on the third day and I was offered a job which I took although the pay was less than I had expected.

Interview
Interview went well, after speaking for about an hour with one manager and answering 5 detailed questions about customer experiences, I was called back for a second interview. Next interview was more casual, I guess to see if I were ligit and for a second opinion. She pretty much assured me I got the job, and would be called in a day or so. Got the call the next day.
