The non-technical interview
Anonymous
The last interview has been with non-technical with the department manager. I can say that it has been informal. There were questions about my past experience, tasks I have had a deal with every day, fails which I have ever had, causes of their occurrence and how I resolved them, and how they could be solved otherwise. You may also be asked about the big problem/challenge you have had lately (and managed it). In different resources write that in the non-technical interview you would be asked about some new features that you can offer and how to evaluate them (e.g. A/B testing). This time it wasn't. In general, the conversation was on the customer-oriented strategy. The interviewer has described the product they are working on, the structure of the department and the common workflow process. He has talked about the tasks that they constantly have to deal with. In general, that’s all, there has been just a relaxed conversation.
