I applied online. I interviewed at UPS (Miami, FL)
Interview
The process was absolutely horrible. I never got to interview. I received an email from a UPS executive recruiter in California asking for times and on two different days to see when I was available to interview. I responded to the email a couple of hours after receiving the email. It was at the holidays and I was having cell phone issues in the mountains. The recruiter never responded back to the email. In the email she sent me it said that if I had any questions to call her. I called her and introduced myself. I was shocked by her tone. It was very unprofessional as if I was inconveniencing her. She said that she will get back to me with more time slots. She never did. I called again once I received a rejection email. The recruiter said that they only had room for seven external candidates and those slots were already filled. The UPS executive recruiting process is to email more people than they have slots for interviews. It is first come first serve. I expected more from the industry leader for an executive level position.
There wasn’t really an interview, just got an email for orientation, chose a date and then was proceeded to be hired on the spot very easy process. The hardest part was just getting the orientation email if I’m being honest
Filled a form, Got a call, set the meeting, met with them, emailed back and forth until I ultimately decided to go another direction. Not too bad of a process if you ask me.
