I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Air Force (Warner Robins, GA)
Interview
Everyone is asked the same questions and normally you are given the questions 10 minutes prior to interview to prepare and take notes. Be careful what you choose to write down because they do collect all notes at the end. They cannot further explain the question only repeat it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain your experience with defining engineering specifications.
I was given a hands off description of the job in general terms, since a background check is required before one can begin work. Then a Q&A about what I was looking for, my experience, very cut and dry questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at US Air Force (Warner Robins, GA) in Nov 2011
Interview
The interview process for entry-level engineer here is just a 3 question questionnaire and some other paperwork and you are pretty much through. Interview process is much different for competitive, mid-level engineers and up. If you have an ABET accredited engineering degree and a little bit of IT experience, you are pretty much a shoe-in.
