I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VMware (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview process was thorough and insightful. I had a positive experience and they were transparent about the details for comp, benefits, job responsibilities. One area of improvement is to have candidates interviewed by one or two members of an outside team to broaden the outlook.

Absolutely jaw-dropping experience, the conversation I had with this lady on the phone screen call was the probably the most ridiculous one I have ever had. First she didn't know what "Americas Theater" means, thought it was a movie theater or opera theater or something lol. Then she was arguing that it should be counted as outsourcing if a company hires a employee in a foreign office lol. I'm glad I didn't laugh out, but seriously where did vmware find those people? lol
