I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Western Union (London, England) in Apr 2023
Interview
Recruiter opened the call asking where I am from (illegal), he didn’t have my resume open and also hadn’t seen my resume before. we kept the conversation going and he asked me my salary expectations, I said I’d rather if he said the budget they had so I could tell him if that aligned with my expectations, he pushed for me to say a number and didn’t want to tell me the budget. Once I told the number, he started to say that “I wasn’t worth the money I was asking” and said “you have what, 4 years of experience” (proofing he didn’t read my resume as I have 7.) From them on, it was a total disaster - he started to offer me “career advice” saying that if I was after this money I should do x, y and z instead of what I’m doing (needless to say I didn’t ask for advice, I was interviewing for a job). I’m also a women and latina so I believe he took this part into consideration when “discussing my career” in front of me, as if it was his place to say anything. The overall experience was just ridiculous, I’d never ever want to work at a company that treats people like this.

The recruitment process was long but hassle-free. Every step of the way, whether an interview with the Global TA Leader or extending an offer, I was informed ahead of time and given proper feedback at each touch point.
