When thinking about the type of position I'd like to work in post-grad, I've found that there's a common thread through each of my previous jobs: identifying a problem, rallying my teammates to ideate, and then testing solutions. From what I've learned about consulting, the job is exactly that process: identifying a client's needs, brainstorming potential solutions, and then prototyping solutions.
