I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wipro (Chennai) in Jan 2010
Interview
Interview process at wipro bpo is very cumbersome. Though the HR desk is well coordinated for the physical intreview, the initial process seems to take a lag. The HR personnel wouldnt update you unless you chase them for the result of your interview. The interviews tend to work at their best if it is a referral.HR round is fairly quick just to understand your salary etc. Managerial round might tend to stretch a bit if they seem to find you knowledgeable enough. So, if the interview is for a long duration, it is all going good.

Here’s the best way to answer “Describe the interview process” (you can write this in form / say in interview):
The interview process consists of multiple rounds.
Round 1 is the Versant Test, which includes Listening, Reading, and Writing assessments to evaluate communication skills.
Candidates who qualify Round 1 will move to the next rounds such as Technical Round, where programming, SQL, and problem-solving skills are tested.
After that, there will be an HR/Managerial Round, where communication, attitude, and role suitability will be evaluated.
Finally, selected candidates will receive the offer based on overall performance.
The interview process was well-structured and professional, with clear communication at each stage. It included thoughtful questions, relevant discussions about skills and experience, and a comfortable environment that allowed for open conversation and fair evaluation.

Interview
Quiet hectic process, interviews are generally difficult. Too many ques. are asked based on your resume. And based on industry and entire audit process. Case based interviews are there and more than 30 ques. are being asked.
