During the phone interview I was asked questions such as why do you want to work for our firm. Describe the process of a financial auditing, will the fact that you have a large family keep you from occasional travel to client locations, and why did you decide to major in accounting. After spending approximately four-hundred dollars on the trip to the office I spoke with another partner of the firm who told me that I was qualified for the position, but he wanted to know why I had only completed one internship during my time in college. I explained to him that I was busy helping my family launch a start-up business and for this reason I waited until my fifth year in college to begin focusing on my own career; however, this did not seem to be an acceptable answer to him in my opinion.
