Why I want to work here, what makes me a good employee, relevant questions to the job I am applying for
Behavioral Interview over the phone to start and then I went on to the in-person interviewing process. I was hired and reported to orientation once I worked out my 2-week notice, like clockwork.
Because I had not interviewed with a media organization before, I was surprised by the questions of neutrality regarding politics, causes, etc. They did not ask about party affiliation or what causes were important to me and made it clear that things like voting were considered a right.
What motivates you to perform well in your job? (They ask because this company wants their employees to do well. The have incentives from cash contests, weekly lunch stipend, health plan after a few months, special parking for top employee of month & Holiday parties.)
