They asked me to prioritize a list of customers for service (911, hospital, small business, and I think emergency weather services).
Do you have any questions for us about the job?
First off they gave me around 30 minutes to take a quiz on dispatch questions. Then I was interviewed by HR, Head Dispatchers, and Manager all together. They all took turns asking me questions, first with asking questions about me, then "What would you do" situations in regards to HR and Dispatch. Then I was given a tour of the company.
They asked us to identify the issues and come up with a strategy to deal with several trains being delayed during rush hour. But also asked us to explain how we'd execute this plan by communicating with the other members of staff.
What do you know about Johnson Controls/Tyco Integrated Security?
Everything was easy and they are very friendly.
