There were general questions like tell me about yourself? what was your role in this project? How do you prioritize your work? How do you handle conflicts etc? Salary expectations? Then there were technical questions related to position as well... computer architecture related questions? Memory (DDR2/3 related questions)? Questions about qualification process of new components - explain in detail? Troubleshooting questions (mainly looking for the approach) e.g. A devices (mobile phone / computer) is not powering up, how would you go about troubleshooting that? I2C / SPI and UART interfaces related questions such as start/stop conditions for I2C, the data transfer speeds supported, describe an I2C data transaction? When do we use this interface, describe SPI interface, data transfer speeds, which systems on board usually need this? for UART, drew Tx/Rx and GND on the board for transmitter and receiver sides and asked to connect them (mainly looking for if we will crisscross the tx/rx or not) ...There were questions related to PCI / PCI express. Draw a block diagram of a computer and connect various blocks together. There were environmental testing related questions. schematic design related questions (mainly looking for the process that you follow for reference designators / other notes in your design)
