Initial interview with manager, behavior and one tech question. Second interview with lead engineer on project. verbal tech questions. Second interviewer as with an engineer that only did back-end. She asked me a Cracking the coding interview question. Third interview was supposed to be with one lead engineer but three engineers came on the interview. The interviewer that was supposed to interview me was late arriving and he had his junior engineer ask me tech questions after he said he wouldn't be able to stay on for the whole interview time and then he and the third engineer both turned their camera off. The junior engineers first questions was 'what are the new features of React 18'. I replied, 'react 18.0 is a breaking change and it just came out three weeks ago, with a simple google search I can tell you which new hooks are included.'. He was inexperienced and the tech question were mainly about Javascript and not React, the job description didn't state Javascript was a needed skill or I would have brushed up on it. I don't believe he had a copy of my resume or the job I applied for. It was very odd. They weren't even in the same location or department I applied for.
