Situation: There are five pill bottles in front of you. Each pill bottle has 25 pills inside. Four pill bottles contain 10 mg pills, and one contains 11 mg pills. You have a digital scale in front of you as well. Using this scale only once, how would you find which pill bottle contains the outlier pill size? (I had a lot of trouble with this one. The interviewer helped a lot, and we eventually arrived at the desired answer)

You go into a dark room and there are 30 coins on the table. One side of each coin is silver, the other side is gold. 10 coins are gold side up and 20 are silver side up. How would you split these coins into 2 piles (of any size you like) such that each pile has the same number of coins that are gold side up. Keep in mind that all you can do is move the coins and flip them over.
